Pierce Brosnan bonded with his wife, Keely Shaye, and their son Paris, who graduated from Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television, in a special occasion.
“Go into the world with a brave heart and create stories that will make the world a better place,” Brosnan, 69, captioned a May 6 Instagram image.
Pierce and Keely, both 59, are pictured with Paris, 22, who is dressed in a cap and gown and carrying his diploma. Keely and Paris are both wearing leis, which are a symbol of love and achievement.
In the comments, Amanda Seyfried, who co-starred with Pierce in the 2008 musical-comedy “Mama Mia,” congratulated Paris.
“Time is flying by. This is fantastic!” Seyfried composed.
Keely, a journalist, also posted photographs of her graduation on Instagram and encouraged others to watch Paris’ short documentary films.
“We are beyond proud of you and the incredible passion and talent you possess,” she said. “Go out there and do good.” A man becomes what he dreams… therefore dream big. Mom and Dad, love.”
Pierce and Keely have been married for over 21 years and have a son named Dylan, who is 26. Dylan graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 2020 as a model and musician.
Pierce has three children from his marriage to Cassandra Harris, who died of cancer in 1991: Charlotte, Sean, 39, and Christopher, 50. Charlotte died at the age of 41 from ovarian cancer, the same disease that killed her mother.
Pierce and Keely will celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary in August. In 1994, the pair met at a party.
“I found a great woman in Keely Shaye,” Pierce said to People in 2001. “I couldn’t find one as good even if I looked a million times.”
And she shares my sentiments.
“He’s intelligent, captivating, and his real beauty emanates from the soul,” Keely told People. “And, like fine wine, he’s ageing beautifully.”
