Charlotte rose to prominence as the daughter of a ‘Bond girl,’ Cassandra Harris, who acted in the film ‘For Your Eyes Only’.
Pierce adopted Charlotte and her brother Cristopher when their biological dad died in 1986.
They adopted his surname before being given a half-brother, Sean, when Pierce and their mom conceived a son.
Cassandra Harris was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1987, the same disease that had killed her mom.
Cassandra died of ovarian cancer in 1991, at the age of 43.
According to sources, Charlotte was greatly impacted by her mom’s death. She battled a lot; watching her mom progressively lose her battle with a terrible disease resulted in sadness and drug troubles.
Charlotte put herself into a rehab clinic in England in 2003 to obtain help for her drug and alcohol addiction.
Charlotte continued in her parents’ footsteps and became an actress, yet Ovarian Cancer would return to plague her life.
Charlotte had to endure a grueling therapy after being diagnosed with the same condition as her mom.
Charlotte maintained a cheerful attitude during that time.
Sadly, Charlotte died on June 28, 2013, surrounded by her family. She died with her husband Alex, kids Isabella and Lucas, and brothers Christopher and Sean by her side.
Charlotte married the love of her life, Alex, only days before her terrible demise. The couple married in a modest and private ceremony attended by family and friends.
Though it appears to be a sad occasion today, a family friend who attended the wedding claimed it was a wonderful event.
It was the most moving day of her life, she says. It wasn’t the day to be depressed. Alex and Pierce were both beaming.

On June 28th, his beloved daughter Charlotte Emily moved on to everlasting life after succumbing to ovarian cancer, Brosnan told.
She was accompanied by her spouse Alex, children Isabella and Lucas, and brothers Christopher and Sean.
Charlotte fought her cancer with uncommon elegance and humanism, courage, and dignity. Their hearts are crushed with the death of their precious little baby. They pray for her and hope that a treatment for this dreadful sickness will be found soon. They appreciate everyone’s genuine sympathies.
The former James Bond star had traveled back in the middle of production for November Man in 2014 to be by his daughter’s bedside, just days after marrying her partner Alex Smith.
Though Charlotte is no longer present, her kids have all grown up.
Her 21-year-old daughter Isabella, for instance, resembles her late mother in appearance.
I sincerely hope she is secure and that she will never have to face the same difficulties as her mom and grandma.
Cancer is a terribly dreadful disease that we must all continue to battle.
