This month, Lisa Marie Presley died, and her family has been openly sad about it ever since. They have issued comments and staged events to commemorate Lisa Marie’s life, as well as to appreciate fans for their solidarity.
Nevertheless, now that all of the rituals have concluded, the topic of Lisa Marie’s will has arisen. It has produced conflict among the family since Priscilla does not feel her daughter’s will should be carried out as it is.
Since her daughter died on January 12, 2023, Priscilla Presley has been honest with her fans about how she feels. Lisa Marie died as a result of a complete cardiac arrest.
When asked how she felt after losing her daughter, she responded that she was distraught and was now attempting to come to grips with it. Priscilla then told her followers how much she appreciated their support and love during this hard time.
To YOU,
— Priscilla Presley (@Cilla_Presley) January 27, 2023
I’m truly overwhelmed with your words, your prayers, your love and your support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart in trying to help me get through this loss. Every parent who has lost a daughter or son knows what a dark painstaking journey it is. 💔
Priscilla helped her grandchildren get through the first few weeks after their mom died. However, they are now entangled in a legal struggle over Lisa Marie’s bequest, since Riley, Lisa Marie’s daughter, has been designated sole executor.
Lisa Marie’s mother and ex-manager Barry Siegel were previously included in her trust, but a 2016 revision to her will removed them. As a consequence, her two oldest kids were appointed as trustees.
Riley Keough, Lisa Marie’s oldest daughter, became the sole trustee when her son died in July 2020. Priscilla is opposing the will, calling Lisa Marie’s signature on the paperwork into doubt.
Priscilla and Siegel are the current trustees of Lisa Marie’s estate and are doing all they can to keep that position. Priscilla claims her name is misspelled in the paperwork, and the signature does not seem to be Lisa Marie’s.
Elvis’ ex-wife also claimed that she was never shown the revisions made to the paperwork, as is necessary for all trustees. She further said that no witnesses or notaries were present for the revisions.
Elvis Presley’s Memphis, Tennessee, estate will be passed down via the family. Elvis’ burial is located at Graceland. His daughter is currently sleeping next to him. The property was handed to Lisa Marie’s three kids when her dad died.
Lisa Marie was just nine years old when she was handed the land in a trust. When she turned 25, the trust was dissolved, and she took full ownership of the property, which became The Elvis Presley Trust.
This trust enabled Lisa Marie and Priscilla, as well as the National Bank of Commerce, to administer the property concurrently. Graceland is available to the public for tours and even overnight stays.
While there was an overflow of affection from all around the globe for Lisa Marie in the days after her death, her daughters waited longer to issue words or images of their mom. Riley uploaded a picture of herself and her mom on January 24, stating she was thankful to have it.
Riley said that it was a snapshot from the last time she saw her mom. Riley later described her mom as “lovely.” Riley has had some grief and misery this month, but she has some great news.
She will appear in “Daisy Jones and The Six,” a Prime Video series that will premiere later this year. The series is based on a novel, which, according to sources, has a large fanbase.
The story recounts the adventures of a band inspired by Fleetwood Mac. The producers enlisted the services of some of the world’s most talented musicians and composers to create unique music for the show.
The plot will follow the band as they grow to success and then choose to split up during one of their sold-out Chicago gigs. The project will be a documentary-style series in which the protagonists will relate their experiences of their band’s rise and dissolution.
Riley will portray Daisy, the main character. Riley will be starring in her second series as the protagonist, after “The Girlfriend Experience,” for which she received a Golden Globe nomination.
Riley’s mom died two days before the show’s trailer was published, and she says she was inspired by her mom for the part.
Riley and her spouse, Ben Smith-Petersen, had a baby girl four days before the trailer was published, according to a source close to Riley. After Riley’s address to her mom at Lisa Marie’s funeral, there was conjecture about the baby’s birth.
Riley hailed her mom for unconditionally loving her and said she wished she could love her daughter the way her mom had loved her and her brothers as they grew up.
Riley and her spouse had stopped talking about their newborn daughter, including when she was born and what her name was. Riley just said that she and her sisters were products of their mom and that she was glad to be her daughter.
Riley and her spouse have yet to share anything about the birth of their baby. During this terrible time, we wish Riley Keough and her family healing and love.
Rest in peace, Lisa Marie Presley.
