Rumer Willis has recently given birth to her first kid with Derek Richard Thomas.
This evening (25 April), the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore came to Instagram to post a gorgeous photo of her baby girl and to herald her safe birth.
Willis, who announced their baby was born at home on April 18, also revealed her lovely name, writing: “Louetta Isley Thomas Willis… You are pure magic.”
“Born at home on Tuesday April 18th… You are more than we ever dreamed of.”
Since sharing the joyful news, the actress, best known for roles in films such as The House Bunny and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, has been inundated with words of congratulations, including from another A-lister Hilary Duff, who wrote: “Yes mama…. Magical!”
Claire Holt, an Australian actress best known for her role in the famous H20 series, commented: “Ahhh congratulations!!! So so happy for you.”
“Congratulations,” Alison Brie of Community wrote, “she’s perfection!”
Nikki Reed, a Twilight star, described the tiny child as “the sweetest girl,” adding, “Loving you and your mama endlessly…”
Jenna Dewan, who came to prominence with Channing Tatum in Step Up, added, “Ahhhhhh angel!!!! So happy for you all!!!”
The new parents collaborated to perform together at their small baby shower earlier this year in March.
Demi Moore, Willis’ mom, and her two sisters, Tallulah and Scout, hosted the event.
Earlier this month, the expectant mom told that she couldn’t wait to give birth and welcome the newest member of the Willis family.
Her parents are so excited, she told the news source. Her sisters are overjoyed, and it’s exciting to be welcoming their first grandchild, particularly as they’re such a large family at this time.
The actress went on to say that her first pregnancy was a ‘humbling’ experience.
She added that she has a newfound reverence and respect for women. She feels like she has had it easier physically than most of her friends
Also, since she is so excited, even those moments that are hard or irritating just so excited, that always kind of trumps [everything], Willis continued. But it’s a crazy ride. It’s the craziest experience she has ever had, much more so than she could have imagined.
Now that tiny Louetta has arrived, things are only going to get crazier.
