“Hayden is a 15-year-old with special needs. This son of mine, he has his share of health struggles but his heart never ceases to amaze me. Today on our way to his OT appointment we noticed police officers directing traffic at a stoplight without power. They were still there on our way home & it was cold out.
He insisted we buy hot cocoa for the officers. He was so proud to walk it up to them & of course the officers made him feel like a hero for bringing a warm drink. I live for these moments with him.”
