Sylvester Stallone just updated his tattoos.
The Rocky actor, 76, recently covered a previous tattoo of his wife Jennifer Flavin face with a homage to his late dog Butkus, who featured in the film and its sequel.
Mr. Stallone attempted to update his wife Jennifer’s tattoo picture; but, the results were unsatisfactory and, sadly, unfixable, said Stallone’s representative Michelle Bega after photographs of the actor’s tattoo cover up were published.
She went on, Mr. Stallone is devoted to his family. The Stallones are currently filming a reality program together for Paramount+.
In May, Stallone and Flavin celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with Instagram tributes to one other.
“Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife,” Stallone, 75, posted a picture carousel of the couple. “There are not enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless, dedicated, patient, woman has meant to our lives and I only wish they could be another 25! Thank you sweetheart!”
Flavin, 53, commented beside her personal photo collection in a post she has since removed, “Happy 25th wedding anniversary to us! 🥰❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for always keeping me laughing, loving and protecting our beautiful family!” She added “Our marriage keeps getting better every year! I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together!🥰❤️❤️❤️”
According to various publications, Stallone’s new tattoo is a profile image of the bullmastiff who died in 1981 from a heart attack.
Stallone has always declared his affection for dogs, and in 2017, he shared an Instagram photo of himself as a child with a puppy-dog named Butkus.
Stallone stated he and the dog were “both emaciated, hungry, and living in a flophouse above a subway station” when the shot was taken in 1971.
He confessed in the article that he once had to sell the dog for $40 as he couldn’t afford food.
Stallone said that Rocky’s script was sold, and he could buy and buy him back, but the new owner saw his desperation and charged him $15,000. He was well worth the money.
