In a video posted online, a 16-year-old girl and her boyfriend laughed and joked about ‘murdering somebody’ after supposedly killing the girl’s father.
Sierra Halseth, 16, and Aaron Guerrero, 18, are suspected of murdering Halseth’s father, Daniel Halseth, in his Las Vegas home in April.
According to investigators, after killing the 45-year-old, the pair attempted to destroy his body. Detectives stated that they discovered a bloodied chainsaw alongside Daniel’s burnt body.
On April 13, Halseth and Guerrero were arrested in captured with Daniel’s death and charged with murder, among other things.
Authorities said they obtained a distressing video of the kids in which they seem to joke about ‘murder’ during their investigation. The video was shot and uploaded to YouTube three days after Daniel’s body was discovered.
‘Welcome back to our YouTube Channel, day three after murdering someone,’ Guerrero says as they both show three fingers to the camera.
‘Woah!’ exclaims Halseth. ‘Don’t put it on video!’ she said before making a funny expression.
Guerrero adds, caressing her head in his hands, ‘It was worth it.’
Guerrero and Halseth are shown in the video laying together on what looks to be a sleeping bag inside a tent, with Halseth chuckling throughout.

The film was discovered six days after Halseth and Guerrero were arrested in Salt Lake City, Utah, according to Las Vegas police.
Daniel’s body was found on April 9th, with his house on fire. Cops suspect the adolescents started the fire to hide the murder, and they also used a chainsaw and a circular saw to dismember the victim’s body. Cops observed a ‘intensive’ clean-up attempt at the residence and said they discovered Home Depot and ATM receipts.
Guerrero was caught on security footage from Residence Depot purchasing the saws and gloves discovered in the home, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Surveillance footage from a Winco grocery reveals Sierra Halseth purchasing two gallons of bleach and a gallon of orange juice. ATM security video reveals her using her father’s debit cards as well.
Guerrero’s parents contacted officers at the location mere hours into the inquiry to say they were seeking for their son and suspected he had abducted Daniel’s daughter.
Guerrero’s mother apparently told authorities that her son and Sierra Halseth dated from June to December 2020, however their parents chose to keep them apart after they had intended to flee.
