Tina Turner, Husband Erwin Bach Bought $76M Home In Switzerland Less Than 2 Yrs Before Her Death.

Tina Turner and her husband, Erwin Bach, were still investing in real estate less than two years before the renowned singer died.

In January 2022, the pair, who married in July 2013, revealed that they paid $76 million for a huge waterfront mansion in Zürich, Switzerland.

Bach told the local daily Handelszeitung at the time that he and Turner had planned to acquire additional property in the European nation after obtaining Swiss citizenship.

(Nonresidents are not permitted to own property in Switzerland.)

They feel very comfortable in Switzerland, Bach, a German native, remarked.

They intended to use the house as a “new weekend retreat in the immediate vicinity.”

The spectacular property has ten distinct buildings scattered over five acres of land. It also has its own private pond, stream, pool, and boat dock.

Aside from the large acquisition, the couple owns another residence near Küsnacht, where Turner died on Wednesday at the age of 83.

According to a representative, the “Proud Mary” singer died after a protracted struggle with an undisclosed disease.

It’s is with profound sorrow that they announce the passing of Tina Turner, said a message on her Instagram account.

With her music and limitless passion for life, she captivated millions of fans worldwide and inspired tomorrow’s stars. Today they say farewell to a dear friend who has left her greatest work: her music. Their deepest sympathies go out to her family. Tina, will be missed very much.

Prior to her death, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll had spent years living overseas after beginning her romance with Bach in 1986.

In 2013, she even went so far as to abandon her US citizenship.

Aside from her affair with the former music producer, Turner wanted to live overseas because she believed her music would be better received there.

She left America since her success was elsewhere and her boyfriend was elsewhere, she told the late Larry King in 1997. Basically, Europe has been very supportive of her music.

Nonetheless, Turner faded from view as she aged, ultimately retiring from the stage in 2009 after finishing her 50th anniversary tour, one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.
