Do you ever wonder how women were expected to behave in the 1950s? Maybe you got to see old ephemeral movies, or seen old manuals on housekeeping. The advice they used to give women was simply outrageous. Who could live like this?
We’re certainly glad common sense prevailed and women have come a long way in getting suffrage and equal opportunities. Things certainly aren’t perfect but you can rest assured housewives aren’t expected to live like this anymore.
