With reports that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have both hired divorce attorneys, all eyes are on the star pair.
Yet, this is not the first time they have battled divorce rumors in recent history. After reports first circulated in 2015, the former supermodel and top football player came out.
The aftermath of the Deflategate disaster apparently got to the pair seven years ago, in September of that year, since they had not been spotted together in two months. The incident centered on allegations that the great quarterback ordered the purposeful deflation of footballs used in his team’s victory against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game in January of that year.
That time Brady dismissed divorce speculations, telling, they are in a terrific spot. She is by far his most ardent supporter.
There were a variety of feelings that he went through, Brady said of Deflategate. They were all at various moments and in different situations. He believed they were all— He just accepted them as they came. He certainly encountered many tragedies and problems in his life, and one just sort of depended on those experiences and a large number of individuals around one for assistance.This has been a new sort of difficulty for him. He believed it was a different sort of challenge to conquer.
After a federal court dismissed the Deflategate lawsuit and his four-game punishment, Bündchen posted a picture of Brady playing soccer with his daughter on Instagram two days later. “And my heart melts #biggestlove #family,” she captioned the photo back then.
For months, the pair has been trying to avoid allegations of marital problems.
They have been married for 13 years.
