Sizemore’s career in Hollywood has been phenomenal so far. The 61-year-old Detroit native has starred in many blockbuster films, including “Born on the Fourth of July” with Tom Cruise, “Pearl Harbor” with Ben Affleck, and “Twin Peaks.”
The actor will appear in about 33 forthcoming films. Also, he has served as a writer and producer for other productions.
From 1996 until 1999, he was previously married to actress Maeve Quinlan.
The actor has had a few unfortunate run-ins with the law in his personal life. This drove him to be quite open about his sober experience. The actor said that he has been attempting to quit drinking since 1991. That became really significant news much later, but he was attempting to stop himself. He had this issue for a very long time and would experience extended periods of abstinence before relapsing.
He added that he still attends meetings and works his steps, but he had reached a point in his life where he realized he had to quit. He could no longer be haughty. He had to quit smoking if he wanted to achieve a peaceful and comfortable old age. And if he wanted to see his children grow up, he had to reach a point of certainty that it was finished.
He once said that so far, it has stayed resolved. He must still do his daily inventory and report for work.
