Abby and Brittany Hensel were born on the same day, March 7, 1990, and have been conjoined since infancy. They became well-known in the media after appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show in April 1996 and in Life Magazine in September 1998. During their youth, Abby and Brittany had their own TLC reality programme where they discussed their life and health difficulties as conjoined twins. The twins’ one-season show followed their lives previously, during, and after college graduation.
As of today, Abby and Brittany are elementary school teachers in New Brighton, Minnesota. The twins teach fourth and fifth grade with an emphasis on math, and their students adore them.
The twins are called dicephalic parapagus twins because they have two heads on one body. When their parents discovered that both Abby and Brittany were unlikely to survive the separation operation, they opted against it. The sisters share several vital organs, including an enlarged liver, a bladder, a diaphragm, reproductive and digestive systems, and intestines. Each twin is in control of one arm and one leg, which takes a great deal of cooperation to do simple tasks like walking, running, and driving a car.

Abby and Brittany grew up in Minnesota and attended Mayer Lutheran High School, where they graduated in 2008. By 2012, they had graduated from Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota, with a degree in Education. The twins have kept a quiet profile since their graduation and TLC series, with no social media presence. Their most recent post on their combined Instagram account was in 2015. They have received a great deal of public attention since their birth and want to live a life away from the spotlight. They are both elementary school teachers with two separate degrees and licences, yet they are only given a solitary paycheck.
While physicians predicted that the twins would not survive the night, they went on to build a successful life for themselves. They like bowling, volleyball, cycling, softball, and swimming, as well as playing the piano, with Abby playing the right and Brittany playing the left.
May the twin achieve great success in life and reach the stars. They deserve the best in their lives.
