A veteran of the United States Air Force posted a video on Facebook Live about an odd event with an unnamed neighbor.
Justin Schroeder, 36, arrived home after errands to discover a letter on his front door. He stated on Facebook Live that he doesn’t even know where to begin. He has met some idiots in his time, but this he/she takes the cake.
Dear neighbor, he is shocked one would fly this sign of hatred, he read from the message.
Schroeder aimed his camera at the American flag in front of his house.
He can only presume he/she voted for Trump based on the trucks in their driveway, he read, before showing viewers the cars parked nearby.
This is a horrible home, and Bozeman deserves better, Schroeder read before swiftly responding, “You’re right – it does. “Pack your s—t and leave.”
If it is not taken down by evening, he or she will take it down personally, the letter added. This is not a conflict he wants to be involved in. They shall triumph. Regards, his neighbor.
The letter was crumpled and thrown to the ground by Schroeder.
He came out into the street, telling viewers that he had just noticed he was the only individual on his block with an American flag flying outside his home.
He simply doesn’t understand it, he said. This flag represents liberty. This flag is always flying at his home, he said. It will never fall.
He can only presume he/she voted for Trump based on the trucks in their driveway, he read, before showing viewers the cars parked nearby.
The video received more than 700,000 views and 19,000 shares.
Schroeder told that the level of love he has received from people has been incredible, and that a stranger went to his house and offered him a replacement flag in case his neighbor stole the previous one.
Some individuals volunteered to sleep outside Schroeder’s house to defend him and the flag, while others pushed him to contact the authorities.
There’s no cause to bother the cops, he said. They have larger problems to deal with.
He admits receiving death threats and unpleasant remarks.
He explained that the solution is extremely easy. He had only raised the flag 10 feet. Someone will see a man coming along the street with a ladder.
He also placed covert surveillance cameras; however, no suspicious activity has been recorded so far.
One is allowed to express oneself, but this goes too far. To him, the American flag represents love. He adores his country, according to Schroeder.
