British astronaut, Major Tim Peake, was aboard the International Space Station when he made a phone call to give a Christmas greeting, presumably to one of his family members.
But Major Tim dialed the wrong number, and wound up speaking with someone who, understandably, did not believe him when he said he was calling from the Space Station… and hung up on him.
So he put out a Tweet apologizing to the unknown woman and letting her know that it was NOT a prank… that he simply dialed the wrong number.
I'd like to apologise to the lady I just called by mistake saying 'Hello, is this planet Earth?' – not a prank call…just a wrong number!
