After a dog bit her on the face, a model’s career is in jeopardy. She is now hoping that cosmetic doctors may be able to reestablish her smile. Brooklinn Khoury, 22, was just beginning her job when her cousin’s pit dog attacked her and ripped off her top lift.
“He was dangling from my mouth,” Khoury explained. Following the collision, a disturbing snapshot shows the young model staring in the mirror. Khoury explained that there was the terror in her eyes. She thought to herself Oh gracious this is what she resembles. How would she solve this? She didn’t know he’d cut off her entire lip. She initially assumed it was only a little bite, however the truth rapidly dawned on her.
Khoury has subsequently undergone many operations to reconstruct her lip, recording the process on social media. Doctors extracted tissue and nerves from her arm and transplanted them to form a new, functional lip. Despite all this, Khoury says she still loves dogs.
While she still has more procedures ahead of her, she is looking forward to regaining her grin. Khoury added that within the last year, she has learnt to love herself regardless of how she appears. Way to go girl for building up confidence in yourself. Hope you deserve the best in life.
