Nothing makes one happier than seeing individuals tear down boundaries and defy societal standards.
After all, whatever the ‘limitations’ placed on others, we are all rulers of our own destiny, and so we choose how far we will set the bar.
After capturing hearts on the runway during a fashion show for models with impairments, a four-year-old girl from Malta has definitely set her sights high.
According to accounts, Francesca Rausi, who has Down syndrome, was a standout performer at the event, shining a bright light on everyone in attendance.
Francesca may be seen in show footage flaunting her stuff among more than 20 other models ranging in age from four to 24.
Michelle Rausi, the girl’s mother, expressed that Francesca has been modelling since she was very small.
She enjoys it and was the first toddler in Malta to compete in a modelling competition, where she won junior top model.
Michelle also stated that her daughter aspires to be a professional model, and that she believes Francesca’s attempts would increase awareness about Down syndrome.
However, it looks like tiny Francesca’s profession is on the rise. She has already received the title of Best Junior Super Model at the Miss Junior Malta pageant, as well as Best Cutie Little Model in another international competition.
Michelle added that she gets emotional watching her as she sees the joy in her little girl’s eyes; it’s out of this world.
Michelle has created an Instagram page in Francesca’s name to showcase her excellent work and to help her burgeoning company.
It melts my heart to watch such a little girl succeed. We are only limited by the constraints we impose on ourselves.
