Children’s hearts are free of prejudice, which is important to remember in a society when many adults resort to hatred and racial stereotypes.
Adults may believe they always know best, but this anecdote demonstrates that we may learn a lot from watching the next generation.
Lydia Stith Rosebush first shared this incredible tale and it quickly went viral.
Lydia’s five-year-old son, Jax, is certain of one thing: he and his best buddy, Reddy, resemble identical twins.
As per Jax, the only difference between the two besties is that his hair stands up, whilst Reddy’s is trimmed.
So Jax chose to cut his hair over the weekend in order to execute a joke on Reddy’s professor on Monday.
Since how could their instructor notice the difference between them if they both had the same hairstyle?
Lydia, Jax’s mother, posted on Facebook that Jax stated he couldn’t wait to go to school on Monday with his hair like Reddy’s so his professor wouldn’t be able to tell them apart.
If this isn’t evidence that hatred and discrimination are taught, she don’t know what is, Lydia wrote. The only difference Jax notices between them is their hair.
In less than a week, the post acquired over 85,000 likes and 25,000 shares.
Many readers have also expressed their own anecdotes of how youngsters are not biased.
A German schoolteacher wrote about a discussion she overheard between a mom and her kid.
When his mother inquired how many migrants were in his class, the youngster responded, none, Mom. Her class is made up entirely of children.
Despite the fact that their touching story went viral a few years ago, there is no evidence that Jax and Reddy had split up.
They still appear to be best buddies!
Don’t we have a lot to learn from our children?
