6-year-old boy severely injured after being run over by 18,000lb bulldozer – starts walking just few days later

When you have a kid, you are never off-duty and spend the majority of your time either caring for or thinking about caring for them.

If anything awful occurs to your kid, it’s possibly the worst feeling in the world. This family experienced a horrible event with their six-year-old, but fortunately, a miracle occurred…

On July 27th, 2022, 6-year-old Bodie Glenn Boring was at a job site with his dad on a routine Wednesday morning. But disaster struck when a massive bulldozer weighing 18,000 pounds ran over the young boy.

Young Bodie was transported to a hospital in Temple, Texas, right away. The small child was discovered to have multiple fractures as well as brain damage. Bodie’s fever rose as he recovered from his wounds, and he tested positive for Covid-19.

Samantha and Dugan Boring, his parents, were distraught about what their son was going through.

His wounds were so serious that his family had almost given up hope that he would live. Samantha, Bodie’s mom, notified friends and relatives on Facebook of his condition, writing, Bodie was life flighted to temple & all she could do was pray to God not to take her baby.

However, despite his parents’ concerns, Bodie was becoming stronger and battling for his life. Even before he tested positive for Covid-19, the youngster began walking. His parents were ecstatic at his spirit and feel it is a miracle that he is still alive.

Bodie told me "mommy I knew when I saw that blade about to hit me that I was gonna die" honestly, I screamed all the…

This is a miracle, and there’s only one reason as to why Bodie’s still here, and she genuinely feels that it’s God, his mother wrote.

Samantha continues to share updates about toddler Bodie after receiving an abundance of love and support. This is one of the toughest things they have ever had to face, yet they are simply so thankful that he is still with them, she wrote one day after the tragedy. Only their Son Bodie Glenn Boring would survive being run over by an 18,000lb Dozer track. She honestly didn’t think it was feasible.

Naturally, the hospital costs were piling up. To assist her family, Bodie’s cousin Magen Boring established a GoFundMe campaign with an aim of $60,000, of which the family is only approximately $8,000 short. Donations to the campaign not only assist with medical expenditures, but also enable Bodie’s anxious parents to take time off work to care for their little son.

Bodie himself was pleased to witness worldwide support for him.

Samantha reported two days after his injury that little Bodie had walked to the shower in his hospital room twice. He had become exhausted on the way back to his bed and had to be carried the rest of the way. But even making those little excursions was incredible and no less of a miracle.

She has never seen anything like that in her life. Samantha described her 6-year-old as “the strongest, toughest 6 year old she has ever seen.”

Just five days after being knocked over by the 18,000-pound bulldozer, the little boy was walking with his walker on his own, prompting his mom to upload a video of his accomplishment and comment that you may be tough, but walking 5 days after being run over by an 18,000 lb Bulldozer is difficult. God is always kind.

Doctors gave the family permission to take Bodie home on August 5th. Following his stunning improvement, the medical staff was certain that Bodie would be back to normal in no time!

It is certainly a wonder that Bodie survived the incident and is healing so well. Our thoughts and prayers are with young Bodie and the rest of the Boring family.

Share this story with your friends and family to show them what miracles look like!
