Cayden Taipalus was compelled to intervene after witnessing his classmate being served a cheese sandwich for lunch rather than a cooked meal. Amber Melke-Peters, his mom, described how he came home that day distressed over the events and asked her how he could prevent it from occurring again.
He created a fundraising website called “Pay It Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry” with her assistance.
Cayden urged friends, relatives, neighbors, and others to help pay off the bills for his friend’s meals once the site was up and running.
And that’s not all. The 8-year-old also began recycling in order to collect money on his own, and he requested that the lunch ladies deposit the funds into the accounts of the youngsters in need.
Cayden’s campaign has earned approximately $7,000 in the name of providing meals for more than 300 pupils since it started. He intends to continue his efforts so that no kid would ever go hungry.
His mother expressed that she is really incredibly proud of her son. He’s only eight years old, and his ability to understand the notion is astounding in her opinion. He has a golden heart.
