Cancer is a very heinous illness, and we will never give up the battle until a cure is discovered.
Almost everyone knows a person who has been impacted by cancer. Some of us have even fought in the conflict.
Steven Cotter, a nine-year-old from Oklahoma, understands how difficult that may be. He was diagnosed with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2016, when he was just six years old.
Steven had his first chemotherapy treatment mere days afterwards, given the type of his disease. Since then, the therapies have continued… until last week.
Steven’s mother, Ashley Cotter, celebrated her son’s treatment completion with a video uploaded on Saturday, December 14. Needless to say, it will warm your heart.
The post was captioned: “PRAISE GOD!!! Little mans VERY LAST CHEMO!!! BIG TEARS OF JOY❤️❤️❤️”

The video has no audio, but it doesn’t require it to communicate the raw passion of everyone concerned.
Others can be seen in the video, joining Steven in his joy as he bursts into tears of joy.
He’s had so many blood and platelet transfusions over the last three years, so many medications and hospital visits, Steven’s mother expressed.
Congratulations, Steven! What a wonderful Christmas present, and what a courageous young man you are.
