Azzie Watson, 25, an Independence woman now run into child exploitation charges after allegedly allowing a man to sexually molest her 2-year-old daughter. She has been charged with three counts of child exploitation and one count of putting a child into risk.
Kansas City cops were called to a metro hospital on June 29, in connection to a reported sexual abuse. Officers were handed over a footage that Independence police had found. As per the court documents, the recording was made by suspect’s beau.
In the footage, Watson acknowledges to seeing two men sexually assault Azzie’s daughter. He admitted that he has seen that little girl was taken back to the crime location almost 10 times.
According to the court documents, Azzie confesses that her daughter was sexually abused about five times. She was detained on June 29 for not appearing in court and her two children were taken into caring protection.
As per court papers, investigators questioned her at the prison where she told them what she said in the footage was a falsehood since she was afraid of her beau.
Investigators told her that her daughter confirmed positive for a sexually spread ailment as well as for meth in her system. Reports also exposed that there were external metal items found in both kids’ feet.
Azzie acknowledged using meth the day she was detained but stated that she didn’t know about the ailment.
