Jodie Sweetin wedded her five-year lover, clinical social worker Mescal Wasilewski, in a private ceremony at a Malibu home on Saturday evening, in front of her two children and Full House castmates. Full House co-stars John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, and others were among the visitors. The pair proposed in January and is planning a stunning July wedding.
She stated that she feels she has found the proper spouse for the rest of her life. And she couldn’t be happier. She was escorted down the aisle by her dad, Sam, and her children, Zoie, 14, and Beatrix, 11, as she and Wasilewski exchanged bespoke vows and Kay Jewelers rings. Lili Bridals provided her with a stunning white gown.
Sweetin chose a Neil Lane 1/3ct diamond contour wedding band, while Wasilewski chose a white gold ring. To honor the merging of their families, the pair also presented her daughters identical yellow gold and diamond Kay Jewelers Circle of Gratitude necklaces.
After the outdoor ceremony, Border Grill provided tacos and a guacamole bar to the 50 guests. Little cake and dessert portions were given by Big Sugar Bakeshop for the event.
Sweetin was previously married to Morty Coyle, Cody Herpin, and Shaun Holguin before her wedding.This is her fourth wedding. She is most known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on Full House from 1987 to 1995 and Fuller House from 2016 to 20. She stated she didn’t want it to be too formal. The appearance is really organic and natural. It’s all about delicious cuisine, good company, and twinkling lights!
Sweetin and Wasilewski met through mutual friends and started dating long-distance in 2017 until he moved to Los Angeles in 2020. “Everything just fell into place,” she explained.
She continues that Mescal helps her feel completely at ease and confident, allowing her to shine as brightly as she desires to. He takes the initiative and shows up for her girls. And they get along so nicely. He’s the finest partner she could have asked for.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in January, just before her 40th birthday. In the caption, she included a statement from Maya Angelou “There is no other heart in the world like yours for me. There is no love like mine for you in the entire universe.”
She said that she will always adore Mescal. He is her type and can’t wait to see what life has in store for them.
