As per horrifying court docs of the “unimaginable” murder, a troubled Louisiana mother continuously video phoned her ex after cutting the throats of their two small children, showing him his daughter “gasping for oxygen” before she died.
According to court filings, Jenee Pedesclaux, 31, initially contacted her ex, Jermaine Roberts, to inform him she’d wrecked his vehicle during their nasty child-custody struggle and that she wanted to murder herself and their children rather than go to prison.
She then FaceTimed him three times to show him how she stabbed their 2-year-old son, Jay’Ceon, and 4-year-old daughter, Paris, according to the allegation.
In the last video call, she displayed how she had slit both of their children’s throats, leaving their daughter “gasping for breath” on the bed before being declared dead in a local New Orleans hospital, according to the site.
Pedesclaux, who was soaked in blood, went on Facebook Live at one point to accuse her ex for the carnage.
“One of her children has died!” She is done!” she yelled in the harrowing live broadcast, despite the fact that her tiny kid survived.
She had enough of life, and it’s all Jermaine’s fault! She is going to kill herself, she is done! he cried.
The kids’ father rushed over to the residence following the initial frightening call, but his ex had locked him out.
They’ve left. It’s over, Pedesclaux allegedly said.
According to court records, the father ultimately forced his way in after busting a window, discovering his children on a blood-soaked bed, the daughter vomiting at the mouth and her younger brother face down in blood.
Pedesclaux is accused of biting Roberts and threatening him with a knife before transporting the kids to University Medical Center for emergency surgery.
Despite repeated life-saving surgeries, Paris died from hemorrhagic shock caused by her wounds, which consisted of a cut on her neck, down to her spine, as well as slashes to her chest and shoulders.
According to court documents, Jay’Ceon was still intubated and in serious condition as of Monday, awaiting further surgery to assess if his trachea was mending properly.
According to the story, their mother had turned the knife on herself but only received slight scratches to her collar bone area. She was taken to the hospital for treatment before being hauled into prison on Monday night.
According to court documents, Pedesclaux is charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder, and second-degree cruelty to a youngster. She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
The horrific incident occurred during a long-running child-custody struggle between the couple, with the father appealing for shared custody, claiming that his ex was “not stable or creating a good environment for the kids.”
Pedesclaux also tested positive for benzodiazepine, cocaine, and cannabis during a drug screening in drug court in March, according to the site.
Pedesclaux’s family, on the other hand, accused mental illness for the “unbelievable catastrophe.”
