Zelda and Zak Williams are remembering their late dad, Robin Williams, on the 8th anniversary of his passing.
On Thursday, the renowned comedian’s daughter shared a message from writer Haruki Murakami, followed by a list of suicide prevention tools.
The “Mrs. Doubtfire” actor committed suicide in 2014 after suffering from Lewy body dementia.

She then posted a thread with information for suicide prevention.

Zak, 39, posted a shot of a bearded Robin gazing off into the horizon.
On the eighth anniversary of your death, Dad, he is recalling how tremendously kind and cheerful his dad was, Zak said on Twitter. He misses his dad terribly, the great, hairy man, and will be commemorating his life today. He adores his dad so much.

Zak was shared by the “Good Will Hunting” actor and his first wife, Valerie Velardi. With his second wife, Marsha Garces, he had Zelda and Cody, 30.
Zak has been a mental health champion and has spoken about his mourning period since his dad’s passing.
From his end, it was difficult to separate the process of personally mourning vs sharing the sorrow with the wider public, both the American public and the globe, Zak stated in a 2021 interview on Apple TV’s “The Me You Can’t See” with Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry.
