Anne Heche’s ex-husband, Coley Laffoon, is paying tribute to the star after she was pronounced officially dead on Friday.
Laffoon posted an emotional video on Instagram appreciating fans for their love and assuring Heche that he will always look for his 20-year-old son, Homer.
In the aftermath of Anne’s death, he just wanted to express a few words.” One, he adored her and will continue to do so. Two, Homer is OK. Obviously, he’s in mourning, and it’s difficult, Laffoon continued. It’s tough, as one can reasonably assume, but he’s surrounded by family, he’s strong, and he’ll be OK.
So, thank you to everyone that checked in. Your check-in, showing them your heart, providing prayers, and everything else is very lovely. “Thank you,” he added. It’s difficult for him, difficult for his family, and really difficult for Homer, but they have one other and a lot of support, and they’ll be OK.
Laffoon went on to say that he hopes the star is “free from suffering and loving or embracing whatever comes next in her life.
She came in hot with a lot to say. She was courageous and bold, she loved deeply, and she was never hesitant to tell them what she (felt), what she believed in, Laffoon added. It was always about love. It had everything to do with love.
The real estate consultant ended his letter by bidding farewell to his ex-wife and added, “Love you.” Thank you very much. Thank you for all of the enjoyable moments. There were a lot of them.
