The event in Horse Guards was recorded on video and then published on TikTok, where it has earned over 104,000 likes.
When the soldier appeared through a door in his ceremonial dress, the little girl was standing in front of an archway leading to a door.
The soldier, who has not been recognized, is a part of the Life Guards, the Household Cavalry’s top regiment.
The little girl in a pink dress is obstructing the soldier’s path as he goes out onto the courtyard. Unaware of the approaching soldier, the girl remains still until he screams “stand clear.”
Following the soldier’s assistance, the scared child flees and may even weep.
More than 5,000 individuals have remarked on the 18-second video, the majority of whom are concerned about the situation.
Many chastised the soldier for being impolite to the little child, while others said that the girl’s parents should have kept her under greater supervision.
