Robert Cormier, who portrayed Finn Cotter on the Canadian television show Heartland, died at the age of 33.
Cormier died on Friday, as per his obituary, however no information regarding his reason for death was provided.
Following his passing, the American network UPtv, which airs the CBC series, paid homage to the emerging star.

According to his obituary, Cormier was a ‘athlete, an actor, and a loving brother.’
It also highlighted his selflessness and boundless ambition.
He had a love for helping others and was constantly striving for more, said the tribute.
Cormier was reported to love “movie nights with his family,” and he “looked up immensely to his dad,” Robert.
His ‘passion for art and movies,’ according to the obituary, will go on beyond his death.
Cormier was born in Toronto, Canada, and went on to become the first performer in his family.
After graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Fire and Engineering Extension Services.
He subsequently enrolled in a doctorate degree in World Economics at Toronto’s York University, however dropped out before finishing to attend film school, from where he graduated.

Cormier’s final Instagram image, which was published in late August, depicted him resting on the ground with his AirPods in place, encircled by scripts for the new season of Heartland.
He first appeared on the program in the 15th season, as a new love interest for Amy, represented by Amber Mitchell, who was seen with him in show stills.
His bevy of scripts indicate that he was scheduled to feature in the 16th season, which begins on October 2, however it is unclear how important his part would be.
His other notable appearances include Winston on the Starz series American Gods, based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name, and Slasher on Shudder.
Cormier’s dad, Robert, and mom, Lisa, as well as his sisters Brittany, Krystal, and Stephanie, and his grandmother Joanne, survive him.
