Being a parent is one of the most joyous experiences a person can have in their life. The first time parents hold their children in their arms is a priceless experience that they will remember forever.
Parents see their kids grow throughout time. They are always proud of their children, if they take their first steps as toddlers or graduate from high school years later. A Texas couple was excited to see their newborn child accomplish great things in life until the unimaginable occurred.
The narrative of the family begins on April 24, 2021, when Alaina married Brandon Majors. Family and friends congratulated the couple and wished them the best for their future together, unaware that tragedy was about to flip their lives upside down.
Ellianna Majors, Alaina’s baby girl, was born a few months later. The pair fell in love with her after seeing her little fingers and feet. They were happy to watch her progress and wished her well in life.
The new parents were unaware that their tiny angel had not been given to them to remain for years. They were completely ignorant of the unforeseen event that would eternally separate them from Ellianna.
Alaina and Brandon routinely posted images of their new baby on Facebook. Ellianna’s pals enjoyed seeing her pose with her parents while snapping selfies.
Ellianna turned a year old as the weeks changed into months, and her parents were pleased to celebrate her first birthday. They had no idea they would never have another chance to cut Ellianna’s birthday cake with her.
Alaina walked out of her house with Ellianna on October 4, 2022. Officials say the mother-daughter team was observed standing by their mailbox about 11:20 a.m.
The Henderson County authorities received a call regarding an automobile collision in the 5000 block of KY 416 West in Robards moments later. When the authorities got on the scene, they realized Ellianna had died.
While the cops looked into the matter, the officials transported a wounded Alaina to the hospital. Deputies say Nathan Simmonds, 25, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado when he noticed Alaina and her children near their mailbox.
Officials did not provide many specifics regarding the collision, although they claim Alaina and Ellianna reportedly stepped in front of the vehicle, causing Simmonds to hit them.
Alaina’s uncle, Michael Englehardt, provided the other viewpoint. He stated that this was a needless accident that might have been averted if the motorist hadn’t been speeding up the slope.
He went on to say that Alaina’s house was on a “risky curve,” and the roadway was too small. He said he saw many vehicles driving by her house and declined to accept the charges against his niece.
Ellianna and her parents went through a difficult time. When netizens learnt about the situation, they expressed their condolences to the family.
Our hearts go out to Alaina and her family as they grieve the loss of newborn Ellianna. Little one, soar!
