Parents adore their kids with all of their hearts and every fibre of their being. Their entire lives focus on their children; they would go to any length to make them happy. Parenthood is a life-changing and incredibly joyful journey.
The pure, one-of-a-kind bond that parents enjoy with their children cannot be expressed in words; it can only be felt from the heart. The same may be said of the dad in today’s story.
Stephen Stewart and his three daughters resided in Harrah, Oklahoma. He was a single dad who did his utmost to give his young princesses the finest life possible.
Stephen did it all for his daughters as a mother and father, from joining them to daddy-daughter dances to enjoying life’s great events.
Ashley, his loving wife and the mother of his kids, died in 2019 – a tragedy that shook him to the soul. However, Stephen and his kids have never forgotten to celebrate her birthday or even cut a cake for her since 2020.
Stephen uploaded a birthday post for Ashley on September 8, 2022, in which his three kids were shown posing with the cake.
Happy Birthday 🎈🎉🎁🎂🎊 we love and miss you 🥰

On Saturday, October 8, the Harrah resident accompanied his daughters to Faith Baptist Church’s annual autumn festival. Stephen opted to go home after the event and pulled his car out of the parking lot. The unimaginable happened right then, something no one saw coming.
According to the authorities, Stephen’s automobile veered left shortly after and collided with a nearby tree. Officers stated he attempted to overcorrect and crashed into a retention pond.
The terrible situation occurred about 6 p.m. at Dobbs Road and Reno, according to Harrah Police. According to family members, Stephen had a medical incident that caused the tragedy.
Unfortunately, the single-vehicle collision killed Stewart, 39, and his seven-year-old daughter, Maddelyn Willett. Amelia and Alexis Stewart, his eleven-year-old twin daughters, survived the collision but were wounded.
According to the family, the girls were transferred to the OU Medical Center and discharged the next day. Marty Burns, Chief of Police at Harrah’s, recalled that it was a difficult night for the Harrah’s community. When someone is involved in an accident, particularly when there are fatalities, it is extremely tough for them to cope with.
According to Chief Burns, when the rescue team and police came on the site, they discovered church members caring for the survivors. Dan Campbell, the pastor of the church, praised his congregation’s bravery in rushing to aid Stephen and his kids.
He expressed his heartfelt sympathies and stated that the church community will be praying for the family, whose lives would never be the same. Campbell stated that even though Stephen and his daughters were not church members, they would be remembered. He revealed that it was on everyone’s mind. It was a dreadful event to occur so near to their church, and it shattered everyone’s heart.
Individuals started laying flowers and plush animals under the broken tree after the terrible incident. The awful catastrophe shook the hearts of the community residents, who couldn’t help but feel for the twin girls, who had lost both their father and their younger sister on the same day. Tracey Morrison, Stewart’s sister, stated, so many individuals adored those two. They’ll feel a huge loss and a huge void in their family. The sisters will mourn their sister and their father.
Willett’s school also issued a statement following her tragic death, expressing their heartbreak at losing a shining light in this world.
Toni Caldwell established a GoFundMe campaign to assist the bereaved family in meeting unanticipated expenditures in the aftermath of their heartbreaking loss. Over $11,000 has been donated as of October 12, and donations are still coming in. At this time, they ask for continued prayers for this family and the loss they are experiencing, Caldwell said.
Following the heartbreaking occurrence, various loved ones paid tribute to Stephen and his daughter. Jesse Strange said he was devastated to learn of the loss of his beloved buddy, who was like a brother to him.
Our hearts are broken, particularly for the twin girls, who will never be able to dance with their father or play with their younger sister again. Please remember this family in your prayers.
Rest in eternal peace beautiful souls. We know you’re with your loving spouse and mother now, and that you’ll always keep an eye on your family.
