Tom Brady is equating his job in an NFL uniform to another profession in uniform.
The NFL quarterback compared the start of each new football season to being deployed as a military service member.
He almost views a football season like one is going away on military deployment, and it’s like, man, here one goes again, Brady said on the October 17 episode of the SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go!” he co-hosts.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 45, admitted that “competitiveness takes over” despite his aim to maintain a solid work-life balance.
One is going to wind up doing precisely what one’ve always done, resulting in the reason who one is, the athlete remarked.

Brady’s personal life, particularly his relationship with his wife, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, has been in the limelight in recent weeks, following allegations that the couple had contacted divorce attorneys.
Brady and Bündchen have 2 kids, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9 years old. Brady and ex-wife Bridget Moynahan have a 15-year-old kid named Jack.
Brady was questioned by podcast host Jim Gray how he is able to “pass the microscope” that is probing his life in public.
Well, Brady believes the point is that everybody should simply be themselves, Brady stated. Some individuals approach things differently, and it just needs to work for them as part of their personality.
His strategy is to simply disregard as much as possible and know that most of the individuals in the discussion don’t have a full understanding of what’s actually going on, Brady stated.
Brady announced his retirement earlier this year, after 22 seasons and a record seven Super Bowl championships. Only two months later, the NFL star changed his mind.
Over the last two months, he has realized his place is still on the field, not in the stands, he tweeted. That day will arrive. But not right now. He adores his coworkers, as well as his supporting family. They make everything possible. He is returning to Tampa for my 23rd season. LFG has unfinished business.
