While aggression is generally a bad thing, abuse in relationships and attacks on the physically weak, such as a kid or a petite lady, are especially upsetting. Sadly, while the idea of physically assaulting someone who not only doesn’t have a chance against you but also loves you is inexcusable, it’s not uncommon.
What is unusual is witnessing an abusive partner bash their unfortunate spouse in plain daylight. Unfortunately, Emre observed just that when a guy chose to beat his wife on the streets of Istanbul’s Kathane area in Turkey one morning. However, things were not going to happen as anticipated.
Surveillance cameras caught the escalation of an altercation between a man and a woman. Then, the man lashed out violently, pounding the helpless woman with rolled-up papers in his right hand. He attacked her repeatedly with the homemade weapon until she slumped on the ground.
At first glance, it appears that no one will step in to save the woman. The terrified woman covered her face with her hands as she sat helplessly on the street, no likely begging with her assailant to stop. However, regardless of what the attacker may have believed, his heinous attack was not going to be ignored. Emre was approaching, carrying karma with him.
Before the abuser could react, the unlikely hero lunged into a flying headbutt, dousing him in his own medication. Emre collided with the man, who was later identified only as Mehmet T by Hürriyet, one of Turkey’s leading newspapers. Although seeing the man beat the woman is rather unpleasant, Emre taking flight makes the clip worth seeing.
Emre held Mehmet to the ground after hitting his violent headbutt, while others raced to the situation and detained Mehmet until cops came. Mehmet had been detained, but the situation was far from finished, particularly for Emre. Despite the fact that witnesses observed what they saw, Mehmet, the husband who abused his wife, was released, but Emre, the guy who intervened, is facing legal difficulties.
The 29-year-old cleaning man was questioned by cops, and the tale he claims Mehmet told them is even more incredible than the horrifying film above. The man told authorities he wasn’t abusing his wife and that she was only acting by flinging herself to the ground, Emre Derebaş, a local news site, said.
He also filed a complaint against her for assault. The prosecution has freed him, yet cops have interrogated her. This is what has most outraged her, the hero added, explaining that he initially assumed the man was hitting the woman with a stick.
That’s why he intervened personally. Maybe he was a touch too harsh. He doesn’t have any regrets. He fulfilled his responsibilities as a human being. He is opposed to violence, but he couldn’t stand by and do nothing when the victim was a woman. If it happened again, he would do it again, Emre Derebaş told the publication.
While many people argue that violence isn’t the greatest approach to deal with aggression, who knows what might have happened if somebody hadn’t stepped up and protected the woman? Ideally, the assailant receives the appropriate penalty, while the hero receives the appropriate plaudits. As for the woman, we hope she finishes the divorce process and safely escapes this man’s clutches. I’d wish to understand what occurred behind closed doors if he’s ready to do this in broad daylight.
