Hilary Swank stood in front of her Christmas tree on Sunday, but the finest gifts were still to be unpacked.
Just days after sharing more Christmas photos, the 48-year-old cradled her expanding baby belly while wearing a red and white onesie with green trim.
The Alaska Daily reporter and her 45-year-old husband, Philip Schneider, are expecting twins in the spring. They will be both parents’ first kids.
The Oscar winner expressed her delight on social media.
They couldn’t have asked for a more miraculous miracle. So happy for these two once-in-a-lifetime presents!! Merry Christmas Everyone!!’ she said, wishing all miracles in one’s own life, in whatever shape they may take.
Friends and admirers also extended their best wishes.
Debra Messing, star of Will & Grace, simply remarked, ‘Mama!!!!!!!!!!!’
‘So exciting!!’ said comedian Kevin Nealon. Merry Christmas!’ and both Jewel and Lindsay Lohan wished the radiant mom-to-be a merry Christmas.
Hilary had provided an update last week, donning black pajamas and wrote, ‘All I want for Christmas is yoooouuus, ohhhhhhh baby(s).’
She explained soon after revealing her pregnancy that she had kept the news from the cast and crew until she had the all-clear from her doctor signaling that both twins were well.
The Away actress is already well into her second pregnancy, and Alaska Daily viewers can see how hard she struggled to hide her growing tummy from the camera.
Hilary is also nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the drama as investigative journalist Eileen Fitzgerald.
Alaska Daily is presently on hiatus, but new episodes will air in February.
