Earlier this week, the couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary.
Emma Heming Willis has revealed another side of her heartfelt connection with her husband, Bruce Willis.
In the midst of his continuous health issues, the 44-year-old model turned to Instagram to post a video of her 2019 vow renewal ceremony, which was shot by the “Die Hard” icon’s ex-wife, Demi Moore.
They chose to rekindle their vows in the same location where they said ‘I do’ back in 2009 for their tenth wedding anniversary, the CocoBaba creator captioned the image. She is really glad they did. Take advantage of every chance to gather and celebrate with family and friends. Such are the wonderful memories and moments that one will cherish for the rest of one’s life. And they get to keep those memories secure and alive for the ones who can’t.
In addition to Moore’s filmmaking abilities, Rumer and Scout Willis, Bruce and Demi’s kids, sang throughout the ceremony, and the couple’s own kids, Mabel and Evelyn, served as flower girls.
Emma created the video to Coldplay’s “Fix You,” which followed a sequence of photographs and videos of the loving family.
The film of the vow renewal comes only a few days after the mother of two celebrated her 14th anniversary with “The Sixth Sense” star on Monday. Emma also paid homage to Bruce on Instagram on his 68th birthday, only a day before their wedding anniversary.
After Willis’ diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, the whole mixed family has come together to support the Hollywood icon.
After the announcement of his aphasia, Emma, Mabel, Evelyn, Moore, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis issued a joint statement in February in which they spoke up about his condition.
As a family, they wanted to thank everyone for the abundance of love and care for Bruce over the last ten months, as they wrote at the time. They will be eternally grateful for everyone’s generosity of spirit. They wanted to provide an update to everyone as a thank you for their thoughtfulness and because they know everyone loves Bruce as much as they do.
Willis was quoted at the end of their statement as saying, “I’ve always found pleasure in life, and I’ve helped everyone I know do the same.”
It meant everything to see that level of concern reflected back to him and everyone else. During this difficult time, they have been affected by others’ affection for their loving husband, father, and friend. People’s continued empathy, understanding, and respect will enable them to help Bruce live the fullest life possible.
