Several actors and actresses are well-known to the public for their on-screen escapades and characters, but few are as well-liked as Tim Allen.
With decades at the helm of Hollywood, there isn’t much that hasn’t been said about the 69-year-old, whether by critics or supporters.
It goes without saying that he’s made his fair share of friends over the years; after all, when you’ve worked with as many individuals as Tim has, your phone book is destined to be a real who’s who of connections.
Yet, based on the man himself, there is one individual in show business that he trusts beyond all others. It’s a guy who, appropriately, portrayed his on-screen counterpart in one of the most unforgettable children’s movies of all time.
In a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson, Allen discussed his quick connection with Tom Hanks, who is much admired.

The A-list couple was recently spotted out and about together, sparking speculation that they are working on a new project.
Actually, Allen revealed that Hanks had helped himself to fries off his co-star’s plate during shooting Toy Story 1.
Allen confessed that wasn’t something he was accustomed to, particularly since he grew up in a household where it wasn’t the norm.
On his friendship with Hanks, who portrayed Woody opposite Allen’s Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story films, the latter said, he does not believe he has ever trusted a human being as much as Tom to even listen to him, and vice versa. They have extremely different perspectives on so many issues, but he’s convinced him that he’s a lovely and fascinating guy. He’s the first man to pay attention to him and not pass judgment.
I don’t know about you, but seeing two such likeable guys create such a tight bond warms my heart. Allen and Hanks have both been at the summit of their professions for a long time and have largely remained unscathed.
I believe it reveals more about their moral character than anything else.
