Community ‘Swarms In’ To Care For Three Children Who Unexpectedly Lost Their Parents.

Sadly, three young siblings lost their parents within a few months of each other. And that’s when the community “swarmed in” to serve as Christ’s hands and feet for this Midwestern family!

Jane, Max, and Henry all lost both of their parents at the same time. Initially, these young St. Louis youngsters had lost their dad when physicians diagnosed him with colon cancer. Sadly, Megan, their mom, died barely four months after their father.

She just died quickly, Megan’s twin sister, Krista Lieber, said. She was sitting on the sofa with her brother-in-law, and all the kids were playing upstairs, and she just drew her last breath and died.

Megan died as a result of an undetected cardiac disease.

Jane, Max, and Henry were taken in by their aunt Krista and her husband Dave when their mom and dad died. The couple was already parents to 3 kids.

Yet the outpourings of affection and encouragement for Jane, Max, and Henry didn’t stop there!

Krista and Dave were “swarmed” by a group of unknown individuals who asked how they could help.

Some individuals would do something as little as assist with the cat, while others would contribute large sums of money, and it all built up to, like, this united front of stability for the kids, Dave said.

The youngsters were able to discover and feel happiness again because of those unwavering expressions of love, generosity, and devotion.

The film contains clips and photographs of the youngsters enjoying Thanksgiving together, playing and laughing like kids do.

She loves them and adores them. They are really resilient. They actually are, and they are fine, Krista remarked.

The good that emerged from this terribly tragic tragedy does not stop with the loads of generosity from complete strangers. Krista and David were prompted to seek medical attention for some persisting medical difficulties.

Krista discovered she, too, had a cardiac problem after having her own heart tested.

Krista said that she has Long QT syndrome, which is an electrical conductivity problem in the heart that may cause sudden death, fainting, and seizures. In her words to David, ‘I, my sister, saved my life, you know?’ I say her death was not in vain. There’s a bigger picture here.”
