Celine Dion fans were initially concerned when the chart-topping singer disclosed last year that she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disease.
In an emotional video shared with followers on Instagram, Dion revealed that she had a “one in a million” ailment called stiff-person syndrome, a degenerative nervous system disorder that affects the brain and spinal cord and may produce severe spasms and restrict movement. The disease is incurable, although symptoms may be managed.
Dion’s muscular spasms, which forced her to postpone a North American tour in January, are well known to her legions of admirers.
Sadly, Dion’s health problems seem to be worsening, prompting the postponement of her next 42-date tour.
The renowned singer confessed on social media that the choice has crushed her.
I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage… I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” – Celine xx…

She stated that she is very sorry to disappoint all once again. Therefore, as much as it pains her, it’s better if they postpone everything until she is truly ready to return to the stage. She is not going away and she is looking forward to seeing all again.
Dion has been low-key since the news, but her sister Claudette has offered updates on her status, voicing confidence.
She is confident that life will give her back what she provided as she is an exceptionally intelligent woman, so very kind and talented, and in love with life as well, Claudette said. Instead of weeping over her fate, she try to send her energy in the hope that one day she will go back on stage.
Dion’s latest health announcement comes around a month after she released a new song. In April, she released an official lyric video for her new hit “Love Again,” which serves as the theme song for the film of the same name, which will be released on May 12.
The music for the film includes five new songs by Dion as well as six of her previous successes, including “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.”
Celine Dion has sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Her chart-topping hits include “The Power of Love,” “Because You Loved Me,” “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” and the Titanic theme “My Heart Will Go On.” Her albums Falling Into You and Let’s Talk About Love have each sold over a million copies and are among the best-selling albums of all time.
She has five Grammy Awards under her belt, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. Her previous Las Vegas performance engagement was the highest-grossing residency in music history.
Celine Dion is a genuinely unique talent, and we wish her the best. While she is unable to do concerts at the moment, we are pleased to see that she is still producing new songs!
