Bobby Wesson became an overnight sensation when he posted a photo of his very overworked wife, Rayena, who is a nurse, and their young son. It was a very touching and heartfelt post.
But then he found himself having to stave off many women’s requests for him to marry them in a separate video post. But that video ended with quite a twist.
Bobby, of Birmingham, Alabama, explained in his initial post that his wife was a trauma nurse, that he is extremely proud of her and that she is actually his hero. He said that she often works very long shifts and helps people from all walks of life, no matter what.

His very loving post, along with the accompanying photo of his wife and their son, was picked up by many media outlets, and has been liked more than 916,000 times. And, of course, there were many kind comments to go along with it. And some of those kind comments came from women who wanted Bobby to be THEIR significant other.
So Bobby found himself in the very strange position of having to re-emphasize his love for his wife. So to do this, he made a followup video, and said: ‘I made this video to send a message to the rash of women who have been sending me messages on social media lately or for any women thinking about doing it: Don’t do that.
‘I’m married. I have a baby and a wife. I have a wife that I love very much. She is so good to me and I would never doing anything to betray her.
‘I don’t even read those messages. I don’t want them. I don’t even look at them.
Then his eyes sneak over to the side and he asks: ‘Was that good?’
The camera turns to the right and shows his wife holding a large knife to his head.
And she says: ‘That’s good, you did good baby.’
Of course, it was all a joke… or was it?
