A lady who felt she was dressed “classy” was apparently instructed to cover up after her clothing breached the dress code at an exclusive restaurant.
@slayraslaye, a TikTok user, posted the 7-second film with her face in her hands after allegedly being smacked with a dress code violation at a luxury restaurant.
“When you get dress-coded at an upmarket restaurant,” she wrote over the video, which was published in early August 2021 and featured her wearing a scarf over her shoulders that she had evidently grabbed from the restaurant’s lost and found bin.
She captioned the video, which included a singing and piano accompaniment scarf from the restaurant. She had no idea these were the vibes.
The TikToker shared a fleeting glimpse of her clothing, which seemed to be a green, low-cut crop top.
The video has been seen over 710,000 times, and many viewers acknowledge they aren’t shocked she was forced to cover up.

According to one user, “most upmarket restaurants have dress codes, generally business/smart casual.”
“You look stunning, but no formal restaurant would accept that top,” another said.
“If I go to a nice restaurant, I don’t want the other guests to appear like they’re in a club,” another concurred.
“I wear business (casual) to work but wouldn’t be permitted to wear this shirt there,” another said, adding that many workplaces have rigorous dress requirements for males as well.
