After 42 Rounds Of Chemotherapy And 865 Days Of Treatment, Baby Henry Is Cancer-Free

Growing up, kids face a variety of difficulties that assist them become tougher and more ready for the future. Henry was just three years old when he was diagnosed with cancer. He was diagnosed with leukemia and began treatment at Chattanooga’s The Children’s Hospital in Erlanger.

Henry remained strong throughout his 42 rounds of chemo, spending a total of 865 days in treatment before being given the all-clear to return home, happy and well. The Little Wishes team planned a surprise for baby Henry before he left the hospital for good to honor his victory against cancer and his strong attitude of fighting back with all his strength.

The entire team gathered to celebrate Henry’s safe and sound return home. The celebration video went viral, and Henry could be seen applauding and leaping up and down while the medical staff sang for him. The film also contained a beautiful moment, with Henry’s mom wiping away tears as she witnessed her young kid dancing about being content and healthy after over two years of suffering. The employees sang “No more chemo for you, no more chemo for you,” to the tune of Happy Birthday, and flung gold confetti in the air. Henry danced about the confetti and afterwards assisted the medical workers in cleaning up the joyous mess.

Viewers were moved by the video, which showed little Henry wearing a shirt that read ‘Cancer-Free.’ On May 27th, 2022, a viral video was uploaded. Henry may be seen in the footage standing behind a banner that reads ‘SURVIVOR.’ Henry took photos with his physicians and other hospital staff members on his big day during the mini-celebration.

CBS News acknowledged Henry’s achievement with a tweet that Henry’s mom is in tears since, after 42 rounds of chemo, 23 blood transfusions, and 865 days of fighting leukemia, he is cancer free, the page captioned the popular video.
