My ex broke up with me after we found out I was pregnant because he didn’t want children, ever, and I wanted to keep our baby. I don’t know what caused it but when I was around 6 months he wanted to get back together and he started sending me gift after gift to try to convince me to speak to him. I was still angry so I sent them back but he would resend them.
Eventually, I was so fed up I stopped opening the gifts and I started to send them to his parents instead of to him.
When he came to see our baby he asked me why I never put him in the clothes he bought for him and why none of the toys he bought for him were there. I told him he never bought our son anything which turned to us arguing over whether he had or not.
He’s angry at me and so are his parents, who up until now were on my side, as they all think I should’ve been checking before sending the gifts to his parents. Am I a Jerk ? Should I accept him for the kid ?
