As the spectacular defamation trial proceeds, Amber Heard is back on the stand to affirm against ex-husband Johnny Depp.
In February 2016, Heard addressed the incident in which Depp alleges she pooped in their bed in their Los Angeles penthouse after a quarrel the night prior on her 30th birthday.
Starling Jenkins, Depp’s chauffeur, previously testified in court that Heard told him it was a “terrible practical joke gone bad.”
Heard argued that one of their Yorkshire terriers, Boo, was responsible, telling the court that the dog had ‘taken Johnny’s weed as a pup and had bowel control difficulties for ever.’
Heard stated that Boo and their other dog, Pistol, would sleep on their bed so that Boo wouldn’t have to get up in the middle of the night and maybe pee on the floor.
She expressed that Heard left Boo in the bed while packing to attend to the Coachella music festival, which appeared to be when the excrement episode happened.
‘Did you perform any type of prank?’ said Heard’s counsel, Elaine Bredehoft.
Heard stated absolutely not. First and foremost, she does not find that amusing. She is not sure what a grown lady does.
She wasn’t in the mood for pranks. Her life was in shambles. She was at a crossroads in her life, having recently been attacked by her abusive spouse, with whom she was in love, on my 30th birthday.
She does not find that amusing at all. That’s revolting.
Heard went on to say that doing something like that made no sense since whenever she and Depp clashed, he would remain at his house in another area of Los Angeles, which meant he wouldn’t even discover the excrement.
