Armed Robbers Try Breaking Into Home, Video Shows Them Beg Neighbor To Call Police.

The Second Amendment has long been a part of the culture and legacy of the South. It is one of the reasons Georgia is one of the friendliest states for lawful gun ownership, enabling residents to readily acquire a handgun.

Thus, when a trio of armed individuals with nefarious motives reportedly tried to steal a Marietta house, they should have realized they’d be playing Russian roulette with their lives. Sadly for them, it turned out to be a losing round.

On a Sunday night, Machavellia Bagsby, 21, Taruss Miller, 21, and an unidentified 16-year-old, whose identity has been concealed for legal reasons, armed themselves and drove to a house on Olive Springs Road.

The three reportedly intended to loot the house and felt they were willing to confront anybody they saw inside. What they didn’t realize was that a 17-year-old inhabitant was equally prepared to protect the property against any danger.

Cobb County Police verified that the adolescent opened fire on the intruders, fatally shooting Bagsby. A second gunshot wounded Miller in the leg, although it is unknown if the homeowner fired the shot or if he was injured by one of his accomplices returning fire. Miller was fortunate in that his injuries were not life-threatening.

A Ring doorbell camera purportedly filmed the incident, which showed a terrified Miller weeping and begging with a neighboring resident to contact the cops. In a frightened frenzy, he is seen lowering his trouser leg and scrutinizing his injury.

The culprit, a 16-year-old boy, was eventually captured. Miller and his younger partner have both been charged with killing Bagsby, aggravated assault, attempted armed robbery, burglary, and illegal possession of a handgun. Authorities have verified that they would not prosecute the 17-year-old resident.

The event has resulted in some surprising news. A lot of people in the neighborhood are interested in getting guns and learning how to use them for self-defense.

One of their pals was killed as a result of the acts of a gang of accused robbers, and they face life in jail for murder and other counts.

Thankfully, an outnumbered kid was able to defend their house and life by using a weapon defensively. Neighbors are taking notice and opting to take precautions against armed criminals.
