Surveillance footage reveals a homeless guy in New York City following down and viciously beating a lady who allegedly rebuffed his attempts to talk to her in conversation on the train.
Waheed Foster, 41, is charged with felony assault in relation to the attack on a 33-year-old lady on September 20. The disturbing video reveals the man chasing the lady through a Queens subway station before seizing her arm and hurling her into a ticketing counter. He then stomps on her and administers many blows to her head and upper body.
Another straphanger, clothed in orange and carrying a red cross body bag, hurries up to assist, but the homeless man appears to follow him back through the subway turnstiles very quickly.
The woman seems to begin rising up off the floor before the homeless man, dressed in a navy shirt, white jeans, and orange sneakers, kicks her in the face and head at least five more times before walking away.
Officers from the 106 Precinct / Transit District 23 arrived to the area of 159 Avenue and Coleman Square – the Howard Beach JFK Airport station — at around 5:15 a.m. Authorities were alerted by a 33-year-old female on board a northbound A train that an unknown guy sought to approach her in conversation and she rejected him, according to cops.
The individual pursued the victim off the train and began to shove, kick, and punch her about the body in an unjustified way, police said. A canvass of the region yielded promising results. The victim was brought to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition by EMS.
Foster was ultimately detained without bail at his trail. He allegedly has seven prior offenses, including one for a screwdriver assault, criminal mischief, burglary, and theft. He was arrested in 2010 for stabbing a 50-year-old lady in the cheek and shoulder, according to sources.
Foster is also facing two more felony charges: criminal mischief and petty theft.
