Bill and Melinda Gates became grandparents for the first time lately. Jennifer Gates and her husband, Nayel Nassar, had a lovely baby girl. Bill and Melinda are overjoyed with their baby addition and turned to Instagram to spread the news.
Bill initially shared a photo of himself seated on a sofa cradling his granddaughter, whose name is still unknown. She looks to be reaching for his finger.
He can’t wait to see her experience the world, the ecstatic new grandfather wrote. Bill also shared a video describing what it meant to him to be a grandpa.
Melinda also resorted to Instagram to express her affection. She shared a photo of herself on her chest, cradling her granddaughter.
Nothing compares to holding one’s first grandchild. She remembers carrying Jenn at this age like it was yesterday. She now has her own kid, and she is brimming with pleasure to see her and Nayel move into their new position as parents, she said.
Bill and Melinda divorced after 27 years of marriage in 2021. Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe are the couple’s three adult children. They maintain a cordial relationship as co-chairs of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and as active members of their joint family’s life.
