Brianne Howey, star of Ginny & Georgia, has given birth to her first child.

Brianne Howey, has given birth to her first child in real life with her spouse, Matt Ziering.

Brianne is most known for her part as Georgia in the hit Netflix drama, where her character has already spent years developing and polishing her parenting abilities as the mother of two children, Ginny and Austin.

In the real world, she confirmed her pregnancy earlier this year, showing off her baby belly in a photo as she prepared for the Hugo Boss spring 2023 fashion show in Miami and writing: “@boss show with my forever new +1.”

Brianne didn’t say how far along she was at the time, but her baby was born on June 18.

The new mother resorted to Instagram to post a photo of her infant wearing a cap and cuddling up on her mother’s chest as Brianne rested in a hospital bed.

The actor smiled at the camera and captioned the photo, “My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller. Welcome, my little love.”

Brianne hasn’t revealed the baby’s name or any other information, but she’s been inundated with congrats from her Ginny and Georgia coworkers.

Antonia Gentry, Ginny’s Georgia, said, “OH MY GOD CONGRATULATIONS.”

Meanwhile, Brianne’s on-screen son, Diesel La Torraca, wrote: “Our teeniest tiniest lil peach is HERE!!!! Love you Momma well done!!

“Sobbing,” wrote Sara Waisglass, who plays Max on the program. “Congratulations, mama!!!,” showrunner Debra J. Fisher said, adding, “So many happy tears.” Congratulations!”

The baby’s birth comes after Brianne and Matt married in 2021, after their wedding was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

It was an incredible feeling to be encircled by so many individuals that one loved, Brianne told afterwards.

The night was more magical than she could have ever imagined, she adds. She wishes every night could end with a fried chicken sandwich from Son of a Gun and a Spice Girls dance party.

The pair met at a pub and started dating shortly after.

The baby’s birth comes only a month after Ginny & Georgia’s stars revealed that the show will return not just for Season 3, but also for Season 4.

The actors predicted “a lot of drama [and] a lot of love triangles,” with Brianne doubting her character’s ability to defeat those “pesky murder charges.”

The third season’s release date has yet to be determined.
