On the red carpet, John Goodman flaunts his amazing weight reduction.

John Goodman flaunted his incredible weight-reduction makeover on the red carpet at the 62nd Monte Carlo TV Festival in Monaco yesterday.

The 70-year-old began his career in television before moving on to cinema, where he has appeared in a wide range of genres and films, working in both live-action and animation.

Who can forget his role in the Coen brothers’ cult film The Big Lebowski?

Off-screen, Goodman has also been hard at work.

In fact, since deciding to start eating better, he’s lost about 200 pounds, which is no small achievement for anybody.

He looked like a million dollars on the red carpet at the event in the Mediterranean principality.

He’s the festival’s jury president, and he dressed in a sharp suit with a pink tie for the occasion.

John Goodman is, honestly, a legend, festival head honcho Laurent Puons said of the appointment.

His grandson adores him, as does his mother, and he adores him. With a phenomenal film and television career, he’s crossed several generations. He’s done it all and played every part.

If he wasn’t leading the jury, they’d give him their lifetime achievement award.

It must feel good to hear someone rave about you like that, man.

Anyway, John’s weight reduction journey has been extensively publicized throughout the years, beginning in 2007, when he embraced a new lifestyle, foregoing booze in favor of personal training sessions and switching to a “Mediterranean-style eating plan.”

He’ll find lots of it down there in that region of the planet.

In addition, he exercises six days a week and walks between 10,000 and 12,000 steps.

He took it slow, as Goodman revealed to radio presenter Howard Stern in 2016. He was simply seeking to alter his way of life.

It’ll be a lifelong process for the rest of his life.

One look in the mirror every day and think, ‘I’ve got the rest of the day, I’ve got to deal with this schmuck?’

In the old days, he would take three months off, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward himself with a six-pack or whatever and just go back to his old habits, he said in another interview.

All that anger was fuelled by fear, and the drinking was fun, he said of his decision to stop drinking.

However, he was probably born an alcoholic. But most of the rage has dissipated. He is fine if he does not watch the news.

Whatever he’s doing is obviously working. He’s in fantastic form.
