CNN has dismissed Don Lemon, according to him.
Lemon allegedly learned of his dismissal via his agency.
He is stunned, he tweeted. “After 17 years at CNN, he’d have thought someone in management would have had the courtesy to tell him directly.

At no point was he told that he would not be able to continue doing the work he loved at the network. There are clearly some greater problems at stake.
Lemon joined CNN in 2006 after anchoring NBC Chicago and serving as an NBC News reporter.
He was recognized on CNN for criticizing cable news and expressing his strong beliefs.
He recently came under criticism for remarks he made on the radio regarding former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley when she launched her presidential candidacy in 2024.
He remarked on CNN This Morning that she “isn’t in her prime.
“When a woman is considered to be in her prime — in her 20s, 30s, and maybe 40s.
His remarks sparked an immediate outcry.
In reaction to Lemon’s tweet about being fired from CNN, the cable news network released a statement stating that the two “have parted ways.”
Don will be forever a part of the CNN family, and they thank him for his contributions over the past 17 years, CNN stated in a statement. They wish him well and will be cheering him on in his future endeavours.
