There was no pop star like Donny Osmond for a generation of ladies. Osmond, a teen star of the 1970s, made females swoon with classics like “Go Away Little Girl” and “Puppy Love.”
His heart, however, remains to just one woman: his wife Debbie, whom he has been married to since 1978.
While Hollywood couples come and go and celebrities sometimes have many marriages, these two have been together for decades.
On May 8, the couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary.
However on their 42nd wedding anniversary, while coronavirus social distance hampered the celebration, Donny still found a way to express Debbie his devotion.
He shared some images of the two throughout the years in a sweet Instagram post. The best benefit of a stay-at-home order is the opportunity to spend precious time at home with my love, Donny wrote.
He adore Debbie more and more with each passing day. He also mentioned that he was working on a new song about her that will feature on a forthcoming new album—what more could you want for an anniversary gift?
Donny and Debbie have five kids and ten grandchildren. Donny posted another post thanking his wife, as well as his own mom and the mothers of his grandkids, on Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Donny remarked on his wife’s birthday in February, something he’ve seen over the years is Debbie’s unusual relationship with time.
It appears that time has robbed many of them of their young glow, fine looks, and brains. However, with each passing year, Debbie becomes more brilliantly dazzling, intellectual, and gorgeous.
While Donny is no longer a teen star, he is still an active performer. He finished second in the inaugural season of The Masked Singer and also performed on Dancing with the Stars.
He and his sister Marie also had a spectacular Las Vegas residency that lasted 11 years and ended in November.
