A mother from UK went on to her TikTok account to disclose why she requests people to stop purchasing gifts and offer her money or gift cards in its place.
The furious mother said that she knows that she is going to sound unappreciative but she does not care. She clarified that if individuals question what her daughter needs for her birthday, she says that her daughter does not whatsoever but people still purchase presents for her.
The mother admitted that she also enjoys to purchase gifts for her friends’ kids but she purchases considerate gifts or offers them a gift card instead.
She discloses that she can’t take inconsiderate presents and criticized those who offered her daughter unwanted items that they wouldn’t need or have re-gifted to her daughter.
She also clarifies that if she didn’t have the sufficient cash to get a nice present, she would be truthful and purchase something they essentially need later.
Her TikTok video has gone viral and she has so far received more than 80k views and several parents approved her revelation.
