Judge gets emotional during sentencing of Ohio man who sexually abused 2 girls

As per police and media sources, an Ohio father who pleaded guilty in January to raping two young children at his wife’s in-home daycare was sentenced to 22 years in prison on Tuesday.

The kids were 4 and 6 years old while they were in Terry McFadden’s custody, according to Franklin County prosecutor Ron O’Brien. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the rapes happened between April 2019 and September 2018 at a Grandview Heights home daycare. Grandview Heights is a Columbus suburb.

He was detained in April after Franklin County Children’s Services obtained an allegation of “potential inappropriate sexual contact,” according to a blog post by the City of Grandview Heights. Following the report, other kids were removed from his care at the daycare, according to the city.

According to WSYX footage from the courtroom, Judge Julie Lynch told the 70-year-old McFadden on Wednesday that there are “no free rapes.” “This court is sick and weary of individuals destroying and abusing kids, Lynch stated. They’re just one step away from being infants.

According to WBNS, a parent of one of the victims stated in a statement Tuesday that McFadden “is no co-parent, warrior, or citizen.” “You will never be welcomed back into mankind, Terry McFadden,” the dad continued.

According to WSYX, McFadden will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life once he is freed from jail. According to WSYX, a victim’s mom stated, they are immensely proud of their beautiful children for their courage in speaking up.
